This Privacy Policy explains how NewKey.cy ("NewKey", "we", "us") processes personal data when you use newkey.cy, create an account, save or view properties, submit a form, contact us or otherwise use our services. We process personal data in accordance with applicable European Union and Cyprus data-protection law, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Cyprus Law 125(I)/2018, as amended.

We may also receive information from a property developer or service provider when this is necessary to respond to a request you initiated.
We may process personal data to operate and secure the Website; create and manage accounts; remember your selected properties and account activity; answer questions and enquiries; connect an enquiry with the relevant developer or service provider when you request this; improve Website performance and usability; prevent abuse and fraud; comply with legal obligations; and, where permitted, measure Website use or send communications you have requested.
Depending on the activity, processing may be based on performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract; our legitimate interests in operating, improving and protecting the Website and responding to users; compliance with a legal obligation; or your consent where consent is required. When processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
When you ask to be contacted about a particular property, project or developer, information necessary to handle that request may be sent to the relevant developer, sales representative or service provider. We only intend such a transfer to enable the response or service you requested. The receiving organisation may process the information under its own privacy obligations.
We may use hosting, email, authentication, security, technical support, analytics and other service providers that process limited data on our behalf or provide independent services used by the Website. Access should be limited to what is necessary for the relevant purpose. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights or security, or in connection with a legitimate business reorganisation subject to applicable safeguards.
Some technology providers may process data outside Cyprus or the European Economic Area. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use or rely on an appropriate transfer mechanism made available under the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards.
Where processing connected with NewKey is subject to Israeli privacy law, the applicable requirements may also include the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 as amended, including Amendment No. 13, the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017, and, where their scope applies, the Privacy Protection Regulations concerning information transferred to Israel from the European Economic Area. This paragraph does not mean that every Website interaction involves a transfer to or processing in Israel; applicability depends on the actual processing arrangement.

You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Cyprus, the competent authority is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.

When third-party content is loaded, the provider may receive technical information and may use its own technologies under its own terms and privacy policy. NewKey does not control the privacy practices of independent third-party websites.
The Website is intended for people searching for property, property-related information or professional services and is not designed as a service for children. If you believe a child has provided personal data inappropriately, contact us so that we can review the situation.
